Calling all Newbies – Meet Us @ re:publica!

Is this your first re:publica? Are you excited, a tiny bit nervous and curious to see who else is there? #rp15 is all about connecting like-minded people. So don’t be shy and come to our two Meet Ups for Newbies on May 4th and on May 5th!

Although the conference has flourished with over 6,000 visitors by now, over the last nine years it has retained its familiar and informal atmosphere in an open environment. We want you to feel welcome and enjoy #rp15 right from the start. That's why we invite you to come to our two gatherings.

On Monday, May 4th, also known as pre:publica, we will gather at the Welcome Column in the yard in front of the entrance hall at 6 pm. Watch out for the "Meet Up @ re-publica" sign! During our first get-together you will get to know other attendants, have a beer or drink of choice and have a chat about blogs, 3D printers, encrypting emails – or whatever happens to be on your mind.

On Tuesday, May 5th, we gather at the same spot at 2 pm. After a quick tour of the event space we will give you an (equally quick) input on how re:publica "works" and will explain where to find what, what is behind the different tracks and whether there is there an app for that (There is!).

Afterwards you will ideally have met some funky people, interesting folks and, even likely, new friends you can network (and possibly drink) with and hang on for the next two days. It will be fun at re:publica!

Come along! Please let us know beforehand that you're attending (via email to alena (at) re-publica.de, twitter, Facebook... The choice is yours!)

BONUS: Become a part of the #rp15 community and introduce yourself! Simply send us a picture on twitter holding the Meet Me @re:publica sign – like Alena did.
